Welcome to HES HSA!
Hillsborough Elementary’s HSA is a parent/teacher organization whose main goal is to establish positive communication between the staff, teachers and parents. All parents, legal guardians, teachers and staff of Hillsborough Elementary are encouraged to join the HSA so that we can provide the most enriching teaching environment as well as a positive and nurturing atmosphere for the children. The goal of the HSA is to provide supplemental educational materials and experiences for the children of Hillsborough Elementary School. We aim to reach this goal through family centered events that encourage a positive community experience and foster the importance of volunteer work. Children learn through our examples and by providing a community experience at the elementary school level, they can learn to be active participants in our world.
ALL HES HSA parent communication will be delivered through Konstella. It's an app for iPhone, Android or viewable on any web browser. All announcements, events, class parties, committee intercommunication and more will be communicated through Konstella. This includes Friend Finder contact information!! There will be NO paper Friend Finder. Make sure you register so you don’t miss a thing!

Water Filling Station Donations
As many of you are aware, due to COVID-19, all of the water fountains at HES have been closed. As such, our students must carry all the water they will need for the entire school day, without the ability to refill. Our Home and School Association has initiated a donation campaign to raise funds to install water bottle filling stations in the school. Each water filling station is estimated to cost $2,700 to install. Currently, our HSA has enough funds budgeted to install 1 station. Ideally, we would like to install 3 stations in the school. One station in the K-1st Grade Hallway, 1 station in the middle of the building, and 1 station in the 3-4th Grade Hallway.
With approximately 500 students in our school, a donation of $6 per child would get us to our goal of $2,700 to purchase 1 additional station, and a donation of $12 would allow us to purchase 2 additional stations.
